This competence area is transversal and it is valuable to every domain of working life. It includes:

Critical thinking: the ability to analyze, synthesis, and/or evaluate information mainly coming from an observation, experience or communication, as a guide to an action or to shape a belief.

Problem solving and decision making: the ability to define a problem, identify its source, prioritizing the possible solutions, selecting and implementing the selected solution.
